Privacy Policy

Account information

• Your email address and, if you provide it, your full name.
• Your password. It is stored only as a one-way encrypted hash — nobody, including us, can read it.
• If your account uses Google sign-in, the name, email address and profile photo Google shares with us.

Your organization and its content

• Your organization's name, who belongs to it, and each member's role.
• Invite links your admins create to add teammates.
• The battlecards, competitor details and tags your admins write, any notes you add when flagging a card as outdated, and field notes you share on a card. Field notes are shown with your name to other members of your organization.
• Files your team uploads: documents attached to a battlecard, screenshots added to a field note, competitor logos and your organization's logo. These are stored on Cloudflare R2 and stay private to your organization unless someone creates a share link.

Share links you create

A rep can create a link to a document an admin marked shareable, to send to a buyer. Anyone who has that link can open and download that one file without signing in, so treat it like any other unlisted link. Links expire on a date the rep chooses and can be turned off at any time. We count how many times a link was opened and when it was last opened, so the rep can see whether the buyer looked at it. We don't record who opened it.

How you use the product

• Which battlecards you open and which ones you favorite.
• Searches that return no battlecards: the search words, when, and who searched. Searches that find cards are not saved.
• Deal outcomes you choose to log on a card (won, lost, still open, or didn't use it), with an optional deal or account name.
• Your email notification choices.

This powers your favorites, "most viewed" and "new & updated" lists, and shows your organization's admins which cards are used, which ones help win deals, and which cards are missing.

AI questions and drafts

When you use Ask AI, your question and the most relevant published battlecards from your organization are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate an answer. When an admin uses Generate with AI, the card title and notes they enter are sent the same way. We don't store your questions, and answers are built only from your organization's own cards.

Technical information

• Basic visit statistics for the website collected by our hosting provider — pages viewed, the referring site, device type and country.
• Error reports when a page fails to load (the error message and the page it happened on), so we can fix problems.
• Standard server logs, including IP addresses, that are part of running any web service.

The extension shows your team's battlecards in a side panel next to the sales tools you already use. Here is exactly what it does with your information.

What it reads on web pages

It runs only on these sites: Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn, Gong, Chorus, Google Meet, Zoom, Gmail, Outreach, Salesloft. On those pages it looks at the visible text and page title to spot competitor or company names that match your battlecards. This happens entirely on your device — the page text is never sent to us or anyone else, and is not saved. It does not run on any other website and does not collect your browsing history.

If you highlight text anywhere and choose Battlecard for … from the right-click menu, the highlighted text is used on your device to search your saved battlecards.

What it stores on your device

• Your sign-in session, so you stay signed in.
• A copy of your team's battlecards, so search is instant.
• Your light or dark theme preference.

Signing out of the extension clears the session and saved battlecards. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.

What it sends to our servers

• Your email and password when you sign in inside the extension.
• The battlecards you favorite or open.
• Questions you type into Ask.
• Field notes you choose to share on a battlecard.
• The words you search for in the side panel, only when the search finds no battlecards.

On battlecardbuddy.revopsolutions.com only, the extension also picks up your existing web app sign-in so you don't have to sign in twice. It does not load or run code from outside the extension package.

The use of information received through the Battlecard Buddy extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• To sign you in and show you your organization's battlecards.
• To answer Ask AI questions and draft battlecards when you request it.
• To send account emails, such as email confirmation and password resets.
• To email you when your field note is used or a card you flagged is fixed, and to send admins an optional weekly summary. You can turn either off in Settings.
• To show your organization's admins how their battlecards are being used.
• To store and deliver the files your team uploads.
• To keep the service secure, working and free of errors.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or use it for anything unrelated to providing Battlecard Hub — including determining creditworthiness or lending decisions.

Within your organization

Admins of your organization can see members' names and email addresses, which cards they've viewed or favorited, any flags or field notes they've shared, deal outcomes they've logged, and searches that found nothing. Members only see battlecards published in their own organization. No one outside your organization can see your organization's data.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the service, only for the purposes below:

• Supabase — stores the database and handles sign-in.
• Lovable — hosts the website and provides visit statistics and error reporting.
• Google — the Gemini API generates AI answers and drafts; Google Fonts delivers the website's typefaces; and Google sign-in, if your account uses it.
• Cloudflare — stores the files your team uploads (R2) and delivers them.
• Resend — delivers account emails such as confirmations and password resets, plus the notification and weekly summary emails described above.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and security of our users and the service.

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. When an account is deleted, its profile, organization memberships, card views, favorites, flags, field notes and deal outcomes are deleted with it; searches it made stay with the organization without your name. Files are deleted when the card, competitor or organization they belong to is deleted, or when an admin deletes them, and deleting a file immediately kills every share link for it. Battlecards belong to the organization that created them and remain available to that organization until one of its admins deletes them. If the last member of an organization deletes their account, the organization and its battlecards are deleted too. Admins can clear logged searches at any time.

• All data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
• Database access rules ensure each account can only reach its own organization's data.
• Passwords are stored only as one-way encrypted hashes.
• The extension requests only the permissions it needs, and only reads the specific sites listed above.

• Delete your account and its data yourself from Settings. An organization's admins can also delete members' accounts.
• Turn notification and weekly summary emails on or off in Settings.
• Ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it.
• Sign out of the extension at any time to clear what it stored on your device.
• Uninstall the extension to remove it and all of its stored data.

Battlecard Hub is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll let you know in the product before they take effect.
